Global Priority Small Flat Rate up to 4 lbs is $13.45. If you unbox the thing, put all the stuff into the pouch, it should fit in the Small Flat Rate box but I don't know how much banging the adapter will take. Yeah if you want to put in some packing material to protect the items, you may have to go up to the Medium Flat, which jacks the price to $43.45. At that price, it might be a deal killer.

Received the adapter kit yesterday (7/27), after a five day delay caused by the lack of anyone to sign for the package. Essentially it took the correct amount of time that the UPS 3-day Select service calls out. Everything checks out at the proper voltages when powered from AC (20V tip and USB socket); planning to check out the DC adapter tomorrow. Nice deal :) .

edit: Ordered the three tips (16V, L10a, L12) and selected USPS delivery ($5).

Funny; I had the same experience, with UPS trying to deliver while I was out of town and no one home to sign for the package. According to Lenovo, it wasn't supposed to ship for several days, but I guess that got it out early.

I'm really amazed at how small this thing is! :o It's the perfect complement to my X300.

Wondering if this is normal...? One of the 5 pins on the 20V tip is more recessed than the others...

My 16V and 20V tips look exactly the same, with the 5th pin recessed.
Also the L9 (USB) has that pin recessed.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)

Just use any usb to mini/micro usb cable and plug into the USB tip that comes with the UltraSlim.

Sold out again.

BTW, have anybody ordered from ITXchange (noted from another thread) before...? The tips she sell are cheaper than the listed prices, but I'm not sure about the shipping.

Cheers.

All gone! I suspect foul play (i.e., a profit-minded reseller).

Fifteen adapter kits are on the Lenovo outlet site today (01oct10), but the price is a bit higher now: $79.99 instead of $53.xx. Maybe demand has driven up the price.

I suppose I appear to be semi-obsessed with this, but it turned out to be such a good deal for me that I wanted to let others know. Eighty bucks is still a lot less than $120, but it's too bad they raised the price from $53.

The outlet staff finally realize that this is a good seller. $80 is getting expensive.

Yep. I hope people hold off buying; maybe the price will drop back to 50 bucks. (Of course, that's easy for me to say, since I already have mine.) Either way, I haven't heard anyone report the slightest bit of apparent use on these "scrach and dent" models.

I think I pad $48 for mine from the Outlet, but that was last year.

Actually price for most if not all accessories has raised noticably. The 4 cell 14W battery used to sell for under $30, and now is $50!!.

It used to be a real bargain outlet that Lenovo used, to get rid of any "not new" or overstocked out of date computers. Now, it is more of a profit center, I believe.

If you've ever been to a so-called outlet mall in the U.S., you'll see that, for the most part, the word "outlet" has lost its original meaning.

That means the market is bearing higher and higher prices? So much for bad economy. I guess it is much better than I thought.
