WTB: T60p Palmrest

#1 Post by Worzyl » Mon Jul 19, 2010 6:33 am

Hello,

The palmrest on my T60p looks warped as it rises between the arrow keys and the Ctrl key.
Does anyone in the UK have a spare that I could purchase? (fingerprint reader)
One other thing, is that I do not use paypal. I wouldn't trust them if they were to tell me the time on my own wrist watch!

I can send a postal order next day delivery.

Thanks

It's normal for a 15".

To be perfectly flat, they would need another screw there.

My current one does not creak, and some of them are more flat than others, but all of them rise at that point to some extent.

I have to say that mine does look pretty bad in that area. The bulge looks quite high making the unit look wonky as it rises well above the keyboard. It's quite a bit of work getting those screws to fit it together too. Maybe I could do with some new screws as well.
