Any alternative to Access Connection?

#1 Post by forests_gump » Tue Jul 20, 2010 12:53 am

I have gotten some non-Lenovo minipci-e cards into my X200.

The laptop boots with modified Bios, and detected the wifi, Wwan card, install the windows drivers. These cards shows up in the device list.

However in Access Connection, these wifi-card/wwan card is not showing it up, as they are not Lenovo cards, or not in the right slots Lenovo intended.

The result is, wifi card is present, but not turn-on by system.

Is there a generic utility (alternative solution of Access connection) that functions to enable/disable network cards?

Anyone have any idea?

BIOS is 'fixed'

I would like a Fn+F5 shortcut key to toggle 'On-Off' to access all my data connection.
(WWAN, WLAN, Bluetooth)

Dont think Windows wireless can be shortcut.
