**SOLD**: Mac OSX Snow Leopard 10.6 Retail DVD

#1 Post by Harryc » Tue Jul 20, 2010 7:28 am

I am selling a Mac OSX Snow Leopard 10.6 Retail DVD. I figured with all of the 'OSX on a Thinkpad' fans around here, I'd offer it to you guys first. In original retail packaging, the DVD disc is in mint condition.

Ah...add tax to that. Make an offer if my price seems high.

AFAIK..... $the $29 price was for the UPGRADE to Snow Leopard 10.6; from lower versions.... and ONLY WOULD WORK on INTEL BASED APPLE MACINES.....

But then I only played with MAC PRO 15" for a weekend !! .....

ASK HARRY > he is the resident expert on apple's stuff !! :P

Still a very CHEAP PRICE for RETAIL VERSION , I think its a 'steal'......>sorry as AJ* would say.....my 0.02c worth!
Work: None - Retired ! Yipee!! ~~Older/Hm use:Asus Zenbook i7FHD~~ w701ds CTO;W520cto;T61P-IPSmodels; T43P,...&700Tstill going strong!! DEC Alpha Series OS: Win7x64; OSX; SuSe Linux; RedHat~~

Thanks ausmike, this DVD contains the full OSX Snow Leopard installation. I installed it on a T60, and it would have worked well if I had put more time into it. There are many steps needed to install vanilla OSX on a Thinkpad as some of the threads in our 'OSX on a Thinkpad' section will attest to. Unfortunately my free time does not match my desire to get into esoteric Operating System projects. :)
