GPU Computing on thinkpad

#1 Post by internlin » Sun Jul 25, 2010 12:32 am

Hi, all

I have some thinkpads, such as t61p, t500..... and recently I have the need of GPU computing, but the forceware and catalyst on the lenovo official site is too old to support gpu computing. Is there any solution on this issue? Thanks.

Hi,

NVIDIA has just released up to date version of their ForceWare unified driver suite for mobile GeForce GPUs. You can grab them from NVIDIA's web site.

For ATI GPUs, you can use a small utility called "Mobility Modder" to modify regular Catalyst driver pack for use with mobile Radeon GPUs. Just Google it to find a download location.

Cheers
