Lenovo ThinkPad T60 and Screen replacement adventures

Hi Folks,

I am a happy T60 user seeking help.

Brief history: Last year I got a T60 donated by a good friend of mine. Last week, I accidentally cracked the screen and am now on a mission to fix it.

After getting some quotes (Which are ridiculously expensive!) I have decided to embark on a mission to fix this myself. This is the first time I am venturing into the world of taking a laptop apart. I have acquired a laptop tool kit but need some help in the next steps.

Questions:
1: Does anyone know where I can find an online video manual that explains in detail how to replace the screen on the T60?
2: Does anyone know where I would be able to find a T60 replacement screen for a good price, preferably in the UK.

You might want to post over in the marketplace forum you're looking for a screen. You'll probably pay a bit more here, but you're much more likely to get good information about what you're buying here than say eBay, which is probably you're other option. Be advised most of the screens on eBay are compatibles, meaning they'll work and fit, but are of low quality and aren't ThinkPad parts if you care. Do you have the 14" or 15" T60?
