Starcraft II on T410

#1 Post by tristanDERP » Sat Aug 07, 2010 10:34 pm

How does starcraft II run on the T410? I know that gaming on thinkpads is probably futile, but I can always hope, right?

From reports I've heard... It'll run but just on the low-medium settings except shaders on lowest?

It is very playable with most of the graphics options on low/some off on my T400, so I assume the T410 will do better ;)

At the lowest graphics setting it runs ok to poor on my T410s with the NVS3100 discrete graphics and 2.93GHz processor. Once there are a bunch of units on the screen it gets pretty choppy. The system was getting very, very hot and I ended up using a notebook cooling pad (USB powered fans) to cool it down.

Of course this system is running my (yes I created it) companies corporate XP image so maybe performance would have been slightly better with Win7.
