Battery replacement for ibm thinkpad t43 2687D8U

Hi all,
I have a question about replacing my thinkpad t43 2687D8U battery. My old one is about 5 year and it cannot store the charge for longer than 1 hour even with the full charge so I decide to buy a new one. My question is that there are so many batteries on the website such as buy.com so I need to know which one is suitable for me. Can I just buy the one that is compatible with my model (mine is 92P1087 6-cell Sanyo)? I'm considering between these twos:
1. For 9-cell:

Are these two compatible with my T43 (2687-D8U)?

Since most of the T43 battery are OEM, do you guys have any recommend or suggestion about choosing the manufacturers for the battery?

For the green series, it mentions in the website that this battery is not compatible with the docking station. What does it mean? Does it mean that I can not plug the my laptop into the IBM dock with the battery?

I would assume so, yes, Please contact the manufacturer and ask.

9-cell batteries stick out of the back of the laptop.
They will not work in a dock, you have to remove the battery first.
The same goes for the above mentioned green battery.
That one is slightly thicker than an OEM battery. Needs to be removed as well, before inserting in a dock.
Small price to pay for a superior battery IMHO.

Weird, my port replicator has special lid that retracts when T42 is inserted with 9cell.

Hmm...I've been using the 9-cell battery on my T43 (2687-D3U) for five years now with the Mini-Dock.

Perhaps the OP has the larger IBM docking station...?
