X2 media slice and Ultrabay 2nd battery

Does the Ultrabay 2nd battery works on the X2 media slice? I checked the IBM specs on the X2 media slice and that fact is not mentioned... On the specs for the X3 media however it is mentioned that it is compatible. I have tried to fit the battery in the X2 but it just doesnt go in... Am I doing something wrong or is it really supposed not to fit?

Nope fraid it will not work - i have checked a slice and there are definitely no power connecters for the battery in the UB2K slot
