**I'd recommend against the Ultralight LCD though. It is very rare and expensive to replace. It is also very fragile and breaks easily if mishandled.

True, but only if out of its enclosure. It is perfectly "stable" on an intact machine. The maximum brightness, however, is palpably higher than the Samsung screens -- far more striking than the 180 vs. 150 nits suggests -- and if you want a really bright screen, then there is no substitute.... the Ultralight LCD ... is ... very fragile and breaks easily if mishandled.
