T7600 in T60?

Will it work?
What BIOS version do I have to have, to just boot it up?
Or is there some other tweak?

It will work. May need a somewhat recent BIOS, but chances are you have it already. It's been supported forever.

(as long as it is the PGA CPU with pins)

...and also make sure that your MB/Planer is Revision 3 - (Though, it will most likely be! - see: upgrading CPU on my T60 1953DAU)

and make sure the S-spec code on the chip is SL9SD
