T61 Safe Mode - Slow GUI Window Scrolling

Is it normal for slow moving of gui windows (when you drag and move them aorund the desktop) and more importantly veryslow scrolling within application windows (notepad, dos command window, etc), when you are using the T61 in "Safe Mode" ??? This issue only occurs on the rare times that I might need to boot the T61 into "Safe Mode".

If this is not normal, then what is causing it and how do I fix it ?

It is the definition of "Safe Mode", windows doesnt load Graphic Drivers, so redrawing is really slow.

Safe mode is there in case windows is broken and you need to access files and configuration to repair it.

The last time this happened, I had noticed that our company T60 had graphical issues as well and the planar had to be replaced.

I would make sure your graphics chip, which is part of the board, isn't going bad.
