Running Windows 7 x64 Enterprise edition and recently started having issues where the laptop keyboard stops working. Mouse still works so it's possible to shutdown and reboot, but without connecting a USB keyboard there's no way to continue typing.
Rebooting and I'm back up and operational.
Looked in the error logs and don't see anything that would make me think that there's an issue (if someone can point me to what it should be) so I'm perplexed.
Just started happening this past week and I'm uncertain of any updates that have been pushed.
Thoughts? Anyone?

Re: T410 keyboard randomly stops working
Any particular combinations that seem to be associated with the phenomenon? Heavy typing?
Maybe open it up and reseat the connector...

Re: T410 keyboard randomly stops working
Haven't found a particular key combination that makes a difference.
Never occurs when using an external keyboard.
Oddly enough, the Fn (Function) key still works and Function key combinations still work. Definitely perplexed.
Debating paving and reloading, but would hate to get into a cycle of doing so.

Re: T410 keyboard randomly stops working
Try booting into the Recovery environment to see if the keyboard goes funny in another OS. If it does, it'll likely be a hardware/BIOS issue. Otherwise it'll be some application/driver in the usual Windows environment that causes the issue.
