BIOS problems...

#1 Post by DrThinkpad » Tue Aug 24, 2010 9:35 pm

I had an old mobo around, an ECS 671T M supporting Core architecture socket 775 processors. After putting my e5400 in, it works, but at a limited speed. Because BIOS was never upgraded after 2007 and even if processor architecture is perfect, no support for this CPU... is there a workaround for this ? (Modded BIOS, etc.)

What I would do is post a request over at Bios-Mods.com. They might be able to do it.
