X31 Says "Wireless Adapters Not Installed" - Factory Restore

My hard drives gave up and I purchased new ones and reinstalled the Factory Image. Now it acts as if there's no wireless card and gives me the "IBM Wireless Adapters (802.11 or Bluetooth) are not installed on this system" error message. I went to the Lenovo site and downloaded the supposed drivers and get the same result after installing them. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here?

If you hit FN-F5 on the keyboard are any wireless radios listed? If yes, enable them.

That was the FIRST thing I did. When I do that, I get a Dialog box titled "Change Power Settings Of Wireless Radios", and in the dialog box, it says "IBM Wireless adapter (802.11 or Bluetooth) are not installed on this system.

In the Device Manager, the Network Controller and PCI Modem have both Question Marks AND Exclamation Marks. Of course I cannot connect to the internet, so I cannot utilize Windows Update. I'm not sure where to go next.

What are the machine type and model numbers from the sticker on the bottom of the X31? It will be a (7) digit alpha-numeric like 2365-3CU.

The description of that machine at Lenovo says 'wireless upgradeable'. That means that if it currently has a wireless card that you or a previous owner installed it. What is it? A FRU number or manufacturers part number or model from the card itself would be best.

I'm assuming that means I have to open up the machine. Is there anyplace online that could illustrate instructions on how to get to that wireless card so I could figure out the FRU? Thanks.
