2 or 3 Recovery Disks for T400s?

I received a set of Win7 recovery disks from IBM shortly after purchasing the T400s. The machine came with WinXP downgrade, and I ordered the upgrade disk set. This is a complete recovery to Windows 7 Pro. The set came with 2 disks. I am in the middle of running the set, and it asked me for a third disk - Supplemental Disk 1. I started with the OS Recovery Disk 1, then inserted Applications and Drivers Recovery Disk 1 when asked. Since I was in the middle of recovery, and assumed my WinXP was likely already blown away, I called Tech Support. They told me to just select "No" at the prompt and it did continue. I am almost now all the way to a 7 install. But I wonder what I may be missing without the supplemental disk. Tech Support had no idea, and said this happens with XP disk sets which also have no third disk, and they have been instructed to tell callers to select NO disk and continue. She is ordering me a replacement disk set, but didn't know if it would have 2 or 3 disks.

Has anyone had this experience, anyone have a third disk, or know what would be missing without it?

Name: Supplemental Recovery Disc.
Description: This disc contains additional content, such as updates to the software that was preinstalled on your computer.
Quantity: Varies by model. Not all computer models require a Supplemental Recovery Disc, so you might not have this disc in your disc package. If your computer model does require a Supplemental Recovery Disc, you might have one or more discs with this title.

Thank you. I'll assume I can get everything I need from System Update.

I received the replacement set of disks from IBM. It also only had two disks. Everything installed fine with just two disks.

the suplemental disk is a way to add updates without changing the first 2 disks. In some number of days or weeks or months, IBM will update the T400 disks to include some update that hasn't been released or even thought of yet. The guy who buys a set at that point will get the same first 2 disks you got, plus another one.
