Hi,
When the computer is set for external display only or for laptop+external display, the laptop stops sending the external display a signal when the lid is closed. This feature was working previously but when I accidently ran WinDVD, the power schemes setting was automatically set for the WinDVD power scheme and this problem was noted.
I have uninstalled Power Manager to see if I could restore this functionality but the problem persists.
I have already checked to make sure that under Advanced Tab for the Power Options that the setting for lid closed is "Do Nothing" but that does not change the behaviour of closing the lid.
Also, how can I restore the default Power Schemes as I have lost many of the power schemes. It seems that the original power schemes cannot be changed.
I am running Windows XP sp3 on a T60 20077JU.
