X31: Network Controller Driver for Win7 ?

I am just installing Win7 on X31. Cannot get internet access because (I think so ?) I did not manage to fire up Network Controller. Wasted hours searching...installing...trying...no result
My X31 is IBM 2672 CEG
Can anybody help where to find (and which one is that ?) proper driver ?

Are you trying to enable wired Ethernet or Wireless?

Wireless Edimax (USB type) for the beginning, than I hope to use WIFI card that is installed (but o idea what card is that).
I think I must have made some mistake...I just found that my Network Controller is OK ("this device is working properly) and Win 7 is happy with current driver.
But I found the problem with Otheh Devices - Network Controller (no driver) and there are also two other "Unknown device"s (under Other devices). I think one of them may be WIFI card.
Anyway...what is the difference between Network Adapter and Network Controller ???
My WIFI (Edimax) connects and-disconects-connects-disconnects...and so on (several seconds each time). I have WIFI router working perfectly, several other computers work here (including T60 I am just typing on).
Is Network Controller driver (missing) the reason why I can't get stable internet connection ?
Where to find it ?
How to find out what are these two "Unknown deivece"s ?
