I noticed that in battery mode the remaining time drops from like 2 hours to 20 minutes (original 8-cell Battery, from 2008, with 69 cycles) and when i charge the battery it jumps from like 50% to 100%, so i used the Battery Maintenance und used "reset gauge level". That was on Energy Manager 3.20 or 3.25, cant remember. The remaining capacity sank from 74,88 Wh to 54 Wh.
So i thought that cant be right, i only have 69 cycles on that battery. So i ran System Upgrade and downloaded + installed Energy Manager 3.30 and ran the "reset Gauge level" again.
This time i only had 36 Wh left, from my original 74,88
I even tried the battery after that but instead of the 1h30min it only wnet for 20mins
Same happens to my 4 cell battery, when charging it jumps from 50% to 100%
Im running Windows 7 Prof. 32bit
I even tried to boot from a Ubuntu Live CD, but it also tells me:
Energy when full: 36 Wh
Design Capacity: 74,9 Wh
So i guess i need to reset my battery somehow so it gets calibratet correct again...
Anyone have any suggestions for me?
