Change screen (top case) from T40P to T43

Hello!

Im new here, but read a lot and hope you can help me.
I have T40P laptop with dead mobo and great screen (1400x1050), and T43 with dead backlight (inverter is ok, lamp is dead - pink, and than off).
Ok. Im trying to change top lid from one to other one (from t40p to t43), and it fits perfectly, but! but i see onle working backlight and black screen, no picture!
Switching to external display and back - no result.

Please, advise me in this situation?! THanks!

What is the machine type/model of the T43? Is it 14" and does it have an Intel GPU? Intel 900-based T43s do not support 14" SXGA

Is this hardware limitations or software (Bios, firmware, etc)?
