After a major system crash and restoration (Win7 professional 32 bits) on my TP X201, I couldn't recover some functionalities I had before, specially the Lenovo GPS app.
Other symptoms: the Fn+F5 combination shows only Bluetooth and Wifi connections; before the crash, WAN/Wimax connection was available (the WAN light is still ON below the screen).
I downloaded everything available from Lenovo support pages, but nothing seems to revive the GPS subsystem (Gobi 2000 I think).
Can anyone help?
EDIT: after several attempts without result, today Lenovo System Update suddenly discovered missing components and my GPS is back. Don't ask how and why...
