Q : SERVICEV001 PARTITION

I am thinking of upgrading my HDD, thus the question.
I have the RnR and Product CD's for the laptop.
Will the RnR & Product CD's create a "SERVICEV001 PARTITION" during the installation process on my new HDD ?
