Problem with small rubber foot on X61

#1 Post by Edward Mendelson » Fri Sep 24, 2010 7:53 pm

The X61 has three large rubber feet and one small rectangular one. The rectangular one on my X61 fell off; I found it and put it back, but it's not firmly attached, and feels very soft, as if it melted.

Are replacements for these feet available? Do they need a special glue to stay on?

Thanks for any help.

No special glue needed Ed. I use Gorilla Super Glue for almost anything, and it would work fine for that. Generic Super Glue...fine also.

Just make sure you clean off the original glue with rubbing alcohol so that the new glue sticks well :)
