NVIDIA litigation - class action suit

#1 Post by GACrabill » Tue Sep 28, 2010 10:40 pm

http://www.nvidiasettlement.com/index.html

Only affects HP/Compaq, Dell, and Apple ??

Very interesting for those of us who fix those other brands.

According to this link, you can get a replacement notebook, whatever that means, or reimbursement for repairs. Lenovo should get in on this action.

Maybe we should contact and bring it to the notice of Mark@Lenovo or someone similar.

And is only for people living in USA too.

Here in UK, every day we're repairing laptops with these chips and feeling quite sorry for the owners, because we know that what we do is only a temporary fix and cannot ever undo a manufacturing defect.

Does anyone with a lawyer's background know how to go about setting up a similar class action in UK?
