I have just bought a used T60p and I am very happy with it. However, there is one (insignificant really) problem with it. The IR window seems to have been dented and has been partly (on one side) pushed into the computer.
I have removed the handrest to see if I could fix the problem, but it seems I will have to disassemble the computer even more to be able to pull the IR window out on one side.
Can someone confirm this, or is it possible to pull it out somehow by just removing the handrest?
Thanks for any comments on this!

Re: IR window
What you see after taking the palmrest off is the magnesium frame surrounding the system board. Unfortunately if you want to get underneath it, you will have to take the laptop completely apart as it's the last thing to come out (it comes out together with the system board).
There might be some other way. Post a close up picture so we may have a better idea of what the problem is.
