Wifi config and video problems

I've still got two problems with my T30 that I replaced the MB on a few weeks ago.

It works fine in all ways that I can tell otherwise.

But, it appears the Function toggle to external video doesn't work. I get no video on the external port. Is there something I may have overlooked as far as settings, etc.?

The other problem appears to be my wifi connection. I can't connect. This is using the same board as used with the other MB which did work at the time.

Think I may be running into a conflict between the prior modem and the wifi card in some way.

I did uninstall the modem and let the system automatically detect the hardware change to the wifi card, but I think it selects the wrong Wifi card (by name) when it sets up.

Anyway, it detects wifi networks in the vicinity but will not connect to any. Provides message that the network card may not be properly configured. It looks good to me, like it was previously.

Maybe I'm not doing this right.
Any suggestions?
