Tumi Large Computer Sleeve

#1 Post by CChoi83 » Sat Mar 12, 2005 11:58 pm

Anyone have one? I'm thinking about getting one in black but it does seem a tad bit bigger than my T42 15" w/ 9-cell battery. My Pelican does get a bit bulky sometimes. I've read all the other threads and reviews on the Shinza's, TimBuk2's, Sumdex's, etc so.

I've also considered the Booq Vyper (I like the Tumi better in terms of look and feel though) and the IBM ThinkPad Office Executive because of the extra pockets without the overall weight and heft (looks good too).

I've thought about the Booq Powersleeves but it just looks too busy and I'm not too fond of shoulder straps and large flaps.

I've seen the Tumi sleeve in a store, and the thing is huge. So large, that I doubt it would fit in any normal size shoulder bag or backpack. That said, it does seem to have nice padding and is well made.

I looked into the Booq Vypers, but these all seem to be made to fit Powerbooks from the evil empire. There wasn't a model that fit well with a T42 15" with 9 cell.

I doubt the ThinkPad office executive would fit your laptop.

Hope this helps.
