FS: X201 w/ Ultrabase & Ultrabay HDD adapter; + more

#1 Post by mybellyisempty » Sat Oct 16, 2010 11:58 pm

My wife lost her job a month back, and it's taking longer for her to get a new job than we expected. Now, her windshield is cracked thanks to some errant rock. So, I'm looking to sell off some stuff to help pay for our pending bills.

Looking for $1200 or so.
I'll update with the model number and remaining warranty when I get back home.

Lenovo X201
Barely used, bought it with plans on using it as a portable system for when I didn't feel like carrying around my W510. W510 got sent back due to high pitched whine, and I ended up getting the ultrabase to use this as a desktop. Got a desktop instead, until I sold it for a bigger laptop. I'm either on my G73JH, or my netbook, but never really used the X201.

Core i5 540M
4GB RAM
320GB 7200RPM HDD
12.1" XGA, no webcam
Intel 6300N WiFi
BlueTooth
fingerprint reader
6 cell battery
65W AC Adapter
Windows 7 Pro (sticker's text has faded away where it says 7, but the key is still fine. MS needs to go back to the old XP stickers that were still readable 10 years later rather than these new ones that rub off in months, but that's a rant for another day)
Restore Discs already made

These come included with the X201, but I may sell these separately if things go well for my wife and she finds a job in time. I no longer need them for how I'll be using my X201 in the future.
UltraBase w/ UltrBay blank: $130
UltraBay SATA HDD adapter + HDD bracket: $35
90W AC Adapter

As for other stuff:
2x slim DVD+-DL drives. Pulled from HP laptops. $20/per
1x slim DVD/CDRW drive. Pulled from HP laptop: $10
2x Lenovo HDD trays (one with plastic pull tab, one without. Both come with screws. First come first serve): $2/per New System Pulls
2x ATI 256MB HD3450 PCI-Express low profile videocards (DVI + VGA dongle for 1, DVI dongle for the other). New system pulls from Dell Optiplex systems. $20/per. First come first serve on dongles.

shipping extra, but likely just $5 flat for anything that's not the laptop.
DS1100(work-built): i7 2700K; 16GB; 64GB SSD & 2x 500GB 7200; 970; U2410
Thinkpad Yoga 260: i5 6200u; 16GB; 256GB SSD; 12.5" 1080p
NUC: I5-4250; 12GB; 256GB SSD & 1TB 5400
