Need R40/T30 MoBo

My wife works for WIC (google it), so she hears sob stories everyday. She came home the other day nearly in tears with a story that just knocked my socks off. Not going into details here, that's not the purpose of this post. My wife and I would like to provide a laptop so this mother can continue her education and break out of the hole that was dug for her.

I have plenty or R40 parts, but no good Motherboards.
Have enough parts to build 1 more T30, but once again, no good motherboards.
Willing to pay shipping, and some towards the actual cost of the parts. If you have a T30 with a bad slot, it would work as Im going to load uBuntu. If you can help, pay it forward, so to speak, Im all ears.

If you have a good A3x motherboard, better yet a working screen, drop me a PM and we'll get a machine built.

I know I'm not making sense right now, but am willing to help if I can, and no, I don't have any spare R4x/T3x parts...

I have a bit of A3x plastics stashed, let me do some scrounging.....if no one else has any suggestions, we may just do that!
