Wanted: 2nd HDD Ultrabay Slim SATA

Looking for a 2nd HDD ultrabay slim for SATA HDD's. I have an ultrabay slim DVD/CD-RW drive that'll be swapped. We can swap or I'll buy. Thanks!

What type of machine are you going to use it in? The Ultrabay interface with the laptop varies from series to series.

I'll be using it in a T60.

I have a generic but fully functional SATA HDD enclosure that fits in a laptop bay. The same port as the mini-sata found on the optical drive of my T500. PM me if you are interested; it should fit in a T60 if it's SATA.

If you don't mind an aftermarket Ultrabay adapter from China they are available on ebay - and cheap. I have five, all from China, and have never had a problem. Here's the cheapest at the moment, $12, shipping usually takes ~2 weeks:

This one has the flat bezel that will match your T60. One made for a T4x will also work but will have a beveled front panel and will not look right in a T60.

Re above post: the T400/500 has a different interface than the T4x & T6x.

Cool thanks for the link. I might pick one up from that ebay page if I can't find another seller here. I wanted to add this second HDD for a project I'm working on soon and this Hong Kong adapter will take almost a month if not a month to arrive. I actually have other things to offer in trade:

Thinkpad T40 1.5 Ghz laptop (it needs reflow but other than that works great!)-I could trade this+cash
I have the PATA ultrabay slim adapter I can swap for this.
I also have that optical drive
