My T500 is crashing

#1 Post by nsoliman » Wed Oct 20, 2010 7:18 pm

Hi everyone
I have a T500, running Windows 7. It's restarting while I am in a middle of working, with no pattern. The only thing I noticed is that when there are some heavy activity, such as downloading and working at the same time, it crashes.

Any idea where to start from?

Could be overheating, could be drivers, could be a virus, could be whatever heavy-duty program having a fault in it's original programming.

What exactly happens? Does it error before causing a restart? Does it go through the standard Windows is shutting down procedure or is it a sudden power off? Does it present a BSOD?
