T510 - upgrade to i7-720QM?

Hi, I bought T510 with i5-540m. In the I would like to upgrade it to quad core processor (i7-720QM). Is it possible to fit this processor in T510 motherboard?

The dual core and quad core CPU's have different pin layout, hence cannot upgrade from dual core CPU to quad core CPU, and vice versa.

what programs are you running that the i5-540 doesnt handle well? I am about to purchase a t410 with a i5-560, would you recommend getting the i7-620?

From what I read on internet i7 is faster by a good margin, and they are not that expensive on ebay (cheaper then upgrade on lenovo.com).
