X300 flimsy screen bezel cracked

Hey guys

Tried searching but came up short, maybe someone can point me to the right thread regarding this issue? I've got an X300 which over time has developed the following:


That's on both sides and it's the plastic screen bezel. No damage was ever done to it, and the actual hinges are still very good and tight.

Would they fix it under warranty (still have it)?

If there is no sign of physical damage - like banging or dent - they should repair it under warranty.

I'll place a request tomorrow, see what they say about it.

u751920, that's not my machine and I'm definitely not in the UK. Perhaps this is a common problem with the X300's as they are getting older?

I guess so. I have seen other machines with this problem.

There must be a thread on here about it already, but I just can't find it.
