T30 battery in T2X

#1 Post by cognacc » Mon Mar 14, 2005 3:47 pm

Hello Thinkpads forum

I recently ordered a T2X battery for my T20(and T22), i ordered PN 02K6649.
But they send me a 02K7050 (for the T30).

I wanted to exchange it, but the said, the always sent the 02K7050 instead, when people ordered 0the 02K6649.
It should last longer, etc.

Any thoughts on this, should i return the battery and get the right PN. or is this battery just as good for my T2X's.

Keep it.
I use T30 batteries on my T23. It works great and you get 22% more capacity, 4400mAH vs 3600mAH.

Are you crazy, it weights 25 grammes more, ;-)

well seriously, if there are no fit issues, i might just keep it.
Have to think about, thanks for the feedback.

I think that the bumps on the bottom don't line up but it fits and last longer. I would just use it.
They gave you a better deal than if they sent the battery you ordered.

oops didnt see that post, have moved to a new adress and changed email adress also, havent gotten around to update all my accounts

I ordered them from this danish company.

www.laptops.dk

Find the battery here.
http://www.laptops.dk/?s=tilbehor

Its in danish kroners, i have a rule of thumb, that says divide by 10 and you have approximately the price in US dollars.

I ordered this
Batteri ThinkPad T20,21,22,23 (02K6649) 845 kr.
and they sent me this instead
Batteri Thinkpad T30 (02K7050) 1.000 kr.

but for the price of 845 kr. according to my rule of thumb thats 84,5 dollars for that battery, does that sound right.
I think recently as the dollar has fallen relative to the danish, and the price for equipment has fallen drastically in denmark to, maybe the ratio should be only 8-9.
Remember its only a rule of thumb(danish: tommelfinger regel) :)

IBM Web Price $149.00* no taxes.

Hey so my rule sucks, what you gonna do bout' it :)

that site is normally the cheapest place to buy in denmark by a margin
