How to get movie/video through XGA?

#1 Post by John H » Fri Nov 05, 2010 5:17 pm

My X60s seems to not put out video through the XGA 15pin D-connector in either XP or Ubuntu. I'd like to be able to watch videos on my 23" LCD rather than the little 12" screen.

Is that normal?

The T40 and T60 work OK.

Have you tried pressing Fn + F7 while the D-SUB is connected :) ?

Yes, I sure have tried <Fn><F7>, several times in different ways.

Has anyone successfully connected the XGA to a standalone external monitor?
