SOLD to forum member: THIS IS THE ONE! This is a T61 that I personally selected and customized for my use. IMHO, it has the ideal mix of options and it is in excellent condition. It is in perfect operating condition. I am selling it because my collection of ThinkPads is just too large and I've recently acquired an X100e.

In summary, this is a 14.1" widescreen model with a high resolution 1440 x 900 WXGA+ LCD. It has the reliable Intel GPU. It has the built in WebCam option. It has built in Bluetooth. It has a bulit in SD memory card reader option. It has a Core 2 Duo T7300 2.0GHz 4MB cache CPU. It has a DVD burner. It has 2GB of RAM. It has N wifi. It has a 160GB 5400 rpm hard drive. It has the fingerprint reader. It has Turbo Memory. It has an NMB (blue suction cup) keyboard. It comes with three batteries, a 6 cell, a 4 cell and a 3 cell UltraBay slim!!! 14" T61's just don't come with better features than this one (of course you could still upgrade the CPU, memory and hard drive further). This machine is configured to run quickly and quietly, not hot or loud. T61's support over 3GB of RAM with Vista and Win 7 64-bit.

The LCD cover is brand new (the old one had a crack and I replaced it myself with a new genuine cover). The LCD is very bright and quite nice. All of the other plastics are excellent. The keyboard and palmrest only show minor wear (the touchpad looks unused). It runs Windows 7 beautifully! This is the one!

I think $400 delivered in the U.S. for this T61 with 3 batteries is a fair price. PayPal, USPS money order or cash accepted.
