Disable any wifi power saving via registry settings?

Hi,

We have some thinkpads running Windows XP. It seems as if it's not enough to disable power saving for the wireless network cards in the device manager.

Are there any registry settings for the Thinkpad powermanagement driver that I could use to disable all wifi powersaving functions on those Thinkpads? Those are all thinkpad r60-r61i.

It would be great if there was a registry tweak for that because then I could use it to remote deploy that setting.

BTW: I don't have access connections installed, but in the Thinkvantage Power Manager I couldn't find any wifi related settings..

Also if I completely removed the thinkpad power manager software AND the power management driver, would I see any drawbacks other than supposedly higher battery draw? Those Thinkpads are only used as desktop replacements so that wouldn't matter..

Are you running the latest version of power manager? In advanced settings for the current profile is a setting for Wirelss adapter power saving mode.
