Sounds like your CMOS battery might be dead, but I'm not totally sure.

I just looked in my ThinkPad users manual and it states that for any code starting with 16x or 17x, there should be following instructions on the screen that you need to follow.
ThinkPad T60: 2GHZ CD T2500, 3gb RAM, 14.1" XGA, 60gb 7k100, Win 7 Ult
Latitude E7250: i5 5300U 2.3ghz, 12gb RAM, 12" 1080p touch, 256gb SSD, Win 10

Replace the CMOS battery and reset your Date and Time.

To enter EZSetup, press and hold the F1 key down while turning on the unit, release after the MECOUNT completes and you hear the POST beep.

I have replace the CMOS battery but still have 161 and 163 error. I cant enter to the EZsetup but I can hear a post beep while press and hold F1.

Here are additional info on my error. When I boot my machine 161 error appear followed by 163. After few seconds a padlock icon appears. I try to input my password but it didn't work. I try no password and it bring me to next screen with the error code 00161, 00163 and a manual logo.

I have read some forum say that it might be with the password. Thus 380XD has a administrator password? Or a default password???
