I have a T61 in an Advanced Dock, and have one question. I prefer to hibernate the T61, and then, later, undock it. When I do this, however, the T61 powers on again as soon as it's undocked, and I actually want it to remain powered down.
I know I can avoid this by undocking it and then hibernating, but that takes a lot more time than hibernating and then undocking. Is there a setting that will prevent this behavior?
I see that the Power Manager has an option to set the machine to hibernate when undocked, but what I would prefer is that the machine stay on when undocked if it's already on, and stay hibernated when undocked if it's already hibernated.
Thanks for any help.
Hibernate, then undock - how to prevent power-on?
