Ebay description:' pressure point mark on screen'.

Can a 'pressure point mark' on a LCD screen be repaired by disassembling it and pushing it out from behind manually?
All right... while you're still laughing..... what major/usual causes could there be for a description of ' dead screen ' ( assuming the unit could boot with a new replacement screen )

Thanks,
Chris.

Well, in my experience, a dead screen can be caused by a fall from a high surface to a solid foundation... Say a second story balcony to a concrete sidewalk...

Of course, there's the now imfamous nick from a ball peen hammer in my last television.

Let's see... Ball bats, garden hoses, fire extinguishers, rakes, hoes, (not that kind, the other one)

Oh, my father had this one: Nickles... Yeah, apparantly, my siblings used his CRT for a piggy bank... Go figure...

I had one that was possessed by evil spirits, but I put my Real Estate license to good use and got them a great deal on a used toaster oven... They fixed it up real nice, then it burnt the house down... Insurance claimed arson... They survived, and I'm showing them a microwave this weekend.
