T410 fsb speed & T400 memory

Hi Folks,

I have a T410 on its way to me, and I currently own a T400. As far as I can tell, the T410 has a 1066 MHz FSB. However, I see some sites recommending 1333 MHz memory for it. What's up with that? Basically, I'd like to know if putting a 4GB stick of my T400's PC3-8500 RAM in my T410 will hold the T410 back.

the only difference is in final latency numbers.

the short answer is that 1066 is the max you'll get even with 1333 installed.
