I just ordered an LG LP141WP2 from eBay to replace my failed Samsung panel (due to my own stupidity). It's supposedly the best of them all. I've never heard of Lenovo offering a Chi Mei LED screen though... There is an AUO one that is CCFL according to ThinkWiki.

Samsung's reds are pretty bad but other than that the screen is decent.
LG's supposedly are good.

The above applies to WXGA+ panels, and may or may not apply to WXGA panels.
