I found that after coming out of hibernation, wifi did not work but actually *all* previous configured networks were missing.
There is a lot of stuff on the internet about this problem but this is just to say that the tip to disable automatic location switching here

worked for me. I did not have any location profiles configured but unchecking the checkbox still fixed the problem.
The other thing which used to happen is that when entering hibernation one used to get the message
"cssauthhiddenwindow not responding"
This one is also all over the internet...
(WinXP SP3, x60s 1704-5UG)
Hibernation stopping WIFI working afterwards
