no turboboost on 410

it seems that the Intel turboboost for i5 will not function on my T410 . no provision in the bios and no change at the cpu even when loaded 100% , just stays at 2.53 ghz, anyone have one that works? thx

Are you determining this from the Intel Turbo Boost desktop gadget that's available for Windows 7?

yes and sure enough now I find the answer, you have too set the cpu to highest in the power manager or no turbo boost. I hope this post helps someone else that wonders why the gadget wont show any boost ! :wink:

Strange. My friend's T510 appears to Turbo Boost on Adaptive.
