ThinkPad X41 Tablet to Transnote

#1 Post by ThinkPad560X » Wed Nov 24, 2010 2:19 am

I have a ThinkPad X41T and was woundering if I could make my X41T a transnote. Is there a way to send my X41T's display to my i1200 as a external display and use my X41T as the drawpad?

Perhaps you should look into VNC. The application would be running on the X41T, but the display could easily be on any other machine, and you wouldn't have to look directly at the tablet. This would essentially turn it into a "smart' digitizing tablet. Or just get a Wacom. :) Using VNC, the tablet would run the application and a VNC server. The other machine would run a VNC viewer. VNC is a network hog, but for a local connection through a LAN, it's no problem.

Just wanted to keep under my Tablet talks. So I viewed a video and seen that I can use my IBM ThinkPad X60 Tablet as a real tablet with using my finger, How do I enable that? I checked under the tablet/pen settings, where do I configer at? Also Im running Windows XP Tablet Edition on it. I don't think my IBM ThinkPad X41 Tablet can do it tho.
