Black Friday W510 on Sale W701 no longer available

Anyone considering purchasing a W510 this weekend? I am seeing around a $450 savings on a new W510. I talked to a sales person regarding the disappearance of the W701. He indicated that this model is no longer available.

Anyone considering purchasing a W510 this weekend? I am seeing around a $450 savings on a new W510. I talked to a sales person regarding the disappearance of the W701. He indicated that this model is no longer available.

Ordered mine yesterday. I was looking at the T510 with the FHD but the Black Friday discount on the W510 was 20% and the T510 was only 15%, combined with my realtor discount was pretty substantial. The W510 also has the color calibrator which is right in line with my negative scanning project.

Did the salesperson indicate whether the W701 is no longer available for -this- sale, or no longer in production for future sales?? I see that the W701ds is all that is orderable right now...

It looks like the CYBERMONDAY discount is the same as BLACKFRIDAY. Go for it!
