Hey everyone!
I'm a longtime Lenovo/IBM fan, having upgraded to a T510 a few months ago. Love the machine, the handling ... everything except the WiFi card.
My problem is on Windows 7 64-bit, with my Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 AGN network card. When I turn my machine on, or restart it, the Centrino card does not install. Instead, inside the Device Manager, I see a "!" symbol next to the name, stating that "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" [[see top of pic]] I have to uninstall the driver, then do an Action>Scan for Hardware Changes and once the card is installed, it works normally.
I do this every single time, and it's getting to be a pain.
So far, I've done the following:
Updated the BIOS to LENOVO 1410 Ver. 1.00PARTTBLx (10/26/2010) [[see bottom of pic]]
Updated Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 AGN driver to 13.3.0.24 (7/14/2010)
If anyone could help me, I'd be very grateful! I am using Access Connections to manage my WiFi profiles. Would it be better to switch to Intel's engine?

Re: T510 Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 Installation problem
There is a 1.41 BIOS released November 12th, 2010. The driver page doesn't even list a changelog for 1.40.
There was also a Wifi driver update on Nov. 19th, 2010. Neither of these updates has anything pertaining to your situation, but it may be worth a try.
Does hitting Fn+F5 when it is Code 10 show the Wireless Radio option?
Are you running the preloaded Windows 7?

Hey Colonel! Thanks for replying.
I downloaded 1.41 at http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-74265 and when I went to install it, it said it was already installed.
I'll try Fn+F5 later today. I am running the preloaded Win7 64bit.

Fn+F5 showed this error:

Any ideas? Think it's bad hardware?
