Good Day,
I have 2 T61s with the same issue. The inverter indicator lights(HDD activity, Battery charge, Caps lock) do not function. Laptop boots, and lcd is functional.
I replaced the Inverters thinking it was a quick fix... without success. Issue is still present.
I would like to know if anyone else has had this problem or if its a known issue.
I'm thinking maybe its the LCD cabling from the systemboard that connects to the inverter.
thanks
T61 Inverter lights are non functional.
Re: T61 Inverter lights are non functional.
That problem is almost always caused by a fuse blown on the motherboard. (F8 if I remember correctly) It is not something that can be repaired by most ships.
