IBM T43 mother board will work for IBM T43p laptop ?

Hi,

I have IBM T43p think pad laptop, but now its mother board is not working. I was planning to replace its mother board, but I am not able to find mother board for T43P laptop.

But I am able to find mother board for IBM T43 Think pad.

I was just wandering dose T43's motherboard is compatible with T43p laptop ?

Moved to T4X forum. Yes it is a direct swap.

Yes, it's compatible but select a board with ATI X300 graphics chipset. T43's boards with Intel graphics will not be able to drive LCD panel from 'p' model.
