Updating ThinkPad Bios

#1 Post by ThinkPad560X » Sat Dec 04, 2010 2:05 am

I have a IBM ThinkPad 770 and going to update the bios version and I know everytime "on older ThinkPads using floppy bios update" It says notebook must be pluged into wall outlet and have a fully charged battery. The battery on my 770 is not charging and will not install the new update. How do I update without a charged battery, I don't feel like buying a new battery when I just use my 770 at the desk.
